Edico Lite Breif
Edico S is a personal file sharing service. You use session folders to share files through this service. You can invite participants to multiple session folders. You can conduct video meetings with multiple participants, using chat messaging, file sharing, and presentation features simultaneously during video conferences. Your messages are retained after meetings, and each participant can access the folder at any time after receiving the invitation.
General
The Edico Lite service includes a single web folder where you can test the functionalities of the Edico S service for two days. These features are compatible with various devices and mobile devices.
Folder Creator and Invited Participants
As the owner, you can log in and open a session folder on the internet server. For a simultaneous session, you can invite up to two participants.
Participants in the folder - sharing files
The person who opens the session folder can upload files that they want the invited participants to see. Additionally, the invited participants can upload their own files to the folder that the opener has invited them to, and they can choose which files they want all authorized individuals in the session folder to see.
Invited participants - Visits to the session folder
Anyone with access rights to the session folder can visit it at any time and from any location with internet access. While there can be many invited participants, a maximum of ten (10) people can be logged into the session folder simultaneously.
Simultaneous meeting in the session folder and number of participants
The folder opener or an invited participant can arrange with a third party who has access to the session folder to hold a simultaneous meeting in the session folder. During this meeting, all or some of the individuals authorized to access the folder will log in at the agreed time. The number of participants in simultaneous meetings is limited to a maximum of three (3).
Opening a video call / audio call in the session folder
For video conferencing in Edico session folders, the host or participant can initiate a video call where both video and audio can be used interactively among all meeting participants. The individual initiating the video call needs to use either Google or Facebook credentials. After initiation, other participants can join the video conference directly within the session without needing credentials. Audio-only communication is also possible via phone if there are any disruptions in the video connection. File presentations can also be effectively managed in this manner.
Chat window for text messages
The session folder has a chat window for interactive text messages. The text conversation accumulated in the window can be saved to the file list as a memo, for example. It can also be modified interactively between and by each of the participants.
