Edico C in brief
Edico C is a personal file-sharing service with a single account owner. The product allows the creation of only so-called confidential session folders, to which the account owner can invite multiple participants. In each session folder, the account owner can view all the files uploaded to the folder, but invited participants can only see their own files.
In each session folder, simultaneous video meetings can be held, during which all participants will hear the spoken content. If there is a need for confidential discussions within a subgroup, the subgroup can either move to another session folder to conduct the discussions or handle them via phone.
Files and messages remain in the session folders and can be reviewed later.
General
The Edico C product has an account with a single account owner. The Edico service operates on various devices, including mobile devices.
Account owner, invited participants, and session folders
The account owner can create an unlimited number of randomly numbered confidential folders on their internet-based account. For each folder, the account owner can invite a selected number of participants. The account owner can view all files within each session folder, while invited participants can only see their own files.
Participants in the folder - sharing files
In each folder, the account owner can upload individual files that he wants only the participant invited to that folder to see. Invited participants can also upload their own files to the folder to which the account owner has invited them and which files they and only the account owner can see. Both the account holder and invitees can use txt files to edit their text and communicate with each other, also on their mobile devices.
Invited participants - Visits to the session folder, number of visitors
In the session folder, anyone with access rights can visit at any time from anywhere they have internet access on their device. While there can be many invitees, a maximum of ten (10) visitors can be logged into the session folder simultaneously.
Concurrent meeting in the session folder
If desired, the account holder or an invited participant can agree to hold a simultaneous meeting in the session folder. For a video conference, the inviter or participant can open a video connection in the Edico session folder. It can use both image and sound or only sound interactively between the meeting participants. Anyone who opens a video connection has to use Google or Facebook credentials. After opening, another participant can join the video conference in the session directly without credentials. It is always possible to have a voice connection through a telephone connection, if the video connection happens to be interrupted. Viewing files is handled well this way as well.
Chat - a window for information
In the session, there is a chat window for participants to send text messages to other participants. A participant can save a message in the folder as a .txt file, which can be edited and will be visible to everyone.
